My research is focused on the personal exposure of school children to fine and ultrafine particles in the air. As a PhD student, I gained experience in the instrumentation of many of the instruments used for water and air quality monitoring. I have good knowledge of handling big data and data visualization.I worked as a senior lecturer for 12 years at the College of Science & Technology under the Royal University of Bhutan. I taught Engineering Chemistry and Environmental Science to undergraduate engineering students. As a lecturer, I have also carried out several short-term research projects related to air and water quality monitoring. Besides teaching, I shouldered several other responsibilities in the managerial position for the overall management and development of the college. As my M.Sc was in Analytical Chemistry, I am well experienced in the laboratory preparation of reagents and chemical analysis. This knowledge in Chemistry helped me in carrying out several consultancy services in air, water, and soil quality monitoring for different government organizations and mining sites.
