Worked on ASP.NET MVC as a web developer porting a desktop application to the browser.

Being a point of contact for ANU IT and Toad Hall Residents.

Working in the NPO (network performance and optimization) department. Under the performance team developed softwares for the RF Optimizers.The main software was “ENDX”. It was installed in four countries on five projects (Pakistan for China Mobile / Warid GSM, Lebanon for Alfa project, Iraq for KorekTel project, Iran for MTN IranCell Project).Key features of the software included a unified platform for:• Site database management + history logging• Ericsson Software parameters automatically fetched from Ericsson OSS. Changes made in the network parameters are automatically logged with the date. This is done without any human interaction• Automatic Key statistics are fetched from the Ericsson OSS. You can view hourly trends of these statistics upto 1 year. It allowed you to drill down from network -> BSC -> cell with split second performance much faster than business objects (due to SSAS backend)I was awarded an Ericsson Achievement Award for this software. I additionally worked on flex / java / python for various small projects / softwares for RF Optimizers.

Worked on a large variety of equipment from Nortel and Huawei including, Nortel MSCs, Huawei MSCs, Nortel HLRs, Huawei HLRs, Huawei SGSN, Huawei GGSN, Huawei STPs, GLENAYRE VMS systems.I developed a number of softwares for Ufone which are described below:Python Projects:•Mass Location Finder: Tells the location of any user number when given its MSISDN. •Implemented Nortel/Huawei MSC and HLR protocol stacks by debugging the official versions using Ethereal (Wireshark).•Outage Report Generator (Nortel and Huawei): Automatically generated a report containing the outages for the previous date.•Billing file generator: It automatically generated files containing the number/names of billing files for Nortel (via telnet) and Huawei (via ftp).•Level Checker: Would check if the input numbering series was defined in all the Nortel MSCs.•Access Levels (Nortel): It generated files with the numbers separated according the provisioning given the HLR table dumps.•E1 Loop check (Nortel): Checked if any of the specified E1 were being looped (All channels would be idle in such a case).•EIR_MCN routines: Automated the routine health checks for EIR and MCN.C# Project (Ultimate View):Data reuse was the objective (e.g. find the number location and THEN use the data to check if the cell was blocked at SGSN without launching another application or Finding all the trunks against a Routeset and THEN check their status) and therefore one large application was developed. It worked on both Nortel and Huawei nodes using a single interface. The following is are some of the features:•Number Data manager (number type, supplementary services etc. for Nortel and Huawei HLRs)•VMS provisioning (Glenayre telnet interface)•MCN provisioning (Web i.e. Http automation)•Run scripts (batch commands) on ANY node•Check all the offices against the node•Check all the Trunks against any node•Get the GPRS subscriber counts from all the HLRs•Perform C7 and E1 hardware surveys
