Brightlands Agrifood Fund focuses on agriculture (seed & grow) and food (harvest & formulate), and will invest in companies with product as well as in process-oriented innovations. Limited partners of the fund are Rabobank, Province of Limburg, NV LIOF, LLTB (Limburgse Land- en Tuinbouwbond), Van Herk Ventures and an undisclosed private individual active in modern greenhouse farming. The Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) has committed € 6 mln out of the so-called Seedcapitalregeling. The total fund size is € 20 mln.

CORMEC will develop into an eco-system with both a highly innovative character in (price) risk management research and a prime environment in which these instruments and strategies can be developed, applied and allowed to flourish. Crucial to this eco-system is a synergy with large corporations, innovative SMEs, government and international knowledge institutes in the field of price risk management enabled by the development of risk management instruments and strategies.CORMEC is affiliated with Wageningen University (the Marketing and Consumer Behaviour Group) and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Office for Futures & Options Research, Marketing & Decision Sciences Group) on topics of management of market risk in the agribusiness sector.

LTO Projects is an independent part of the agricultural and horticultural organization LTO Nederland and works on projects in agriculture and horticulture on a commercial basis. We work with and for farmers and market gardeners on a healthy agricultural sector and a sustainable future for their company. We do this in our own involved and customer-oriented way. Our project managers stand with their feet in the clay and have a lot of knowledge and passion for agriculture and horticulture. With our projects we solve problems and we pave the way for innovation in agriculture and horticulture.Our project leaders see opportunities in the green space, know the right inputs to finance them and the right people to implement together. As a spider in the web, they bring together farmers with policy makers, governments, financiers and parties from the agro and food sector. LTO Nederland (Land- en Tuinbouw Organisatie) is the Dutch Federation of Agriculture and Horticulture, an entrepreneurial and employers’ organisation.Cooperative arrangement Representing almost 50,000 agricultural entrepreneurs, the cooperative arrangement of LTO Noord, ZLTO and LLTB - the three regional agricultural organisations in The Netherlands - works in support of their economic and social position. Ondernemend Limburg (Enterprising Limburg) is committed to the socio-economic interests of business in general and associate members in particular. Ondernemend Limburg originated from a partnership between LWV, MKB Limburg and LLTB.

Arvalis BV is an agricultural consulting firm, created from the Limburg Agricultural and Horticultural Association (LLTB) in 2000. Since that time she has been able to position themselves as a leader in agricultural advice in the Dutch Province Limburg. Meanwhile Arvalis operates from four locations and employs about sixty people. Since 2014 Arvalis works closely with ROBA Advies BV from Deurne and from there also operated in Southeast Brabant.Arvalis is known as the source of information and advice partner for the agricultural, feed and food sector in the field of business advice, spatial development, design & construction advice, brokerage, legal advice and project management. In recent years, it has become apparent that the in-depth knowledge that has been built up in these areas in recent years is also very useful for sectors other than agriculture. That is why, in addition to agricultural advisers, Arvalis now also employs estate agents who specialize in the sale and purchase of private homes in rural areas.
