After spending several years in high scale environments, I made the choice to take on a scale up assignment. This unit is International Travel Retail. The Mars Wrigley unit that brings our Chocolate and Gum portfolio to travelers around the world. A conscious choice to learn and develop myself in a smaller and more complex environment. The unit sells to Duty Free retailers with stores in airports in over 80 countries across all continents. As the P&O Director I joined the newly created unit to set it up for future growth. Together with my peers in the leadership team we created and deliver a clear strategy with People, Customers and Shoppers at the center. Over the past years we lead the delivered on our agenda to simplify our business, enhancing profitability, building capabilities in S&OP, leadership, quality and cross cultural effectiveness. We accelerated the talent agenda and built a culture of performance, Inclusion and strong engagement. The team consists of 20+ nationalities in 10 locations and is known for high levels of trust, engagement and collaboration.

For three years I was the Strategic HR business Partner in one of the biggest chocolate factories in the world, manufacturing chocolate bars and semi finished goods. The unit consists of 750 Associates including 500 in shifts. As a member of the Factory Management Team we delivered a leaner and more capable organization that is set up for the future. Key result areas were Organizational Development and Change Management, Associate Engagement, Leadership Development, Capability Development and Talent. The experience in this role gave me great exposure to a unit that is lead based on operational excellence.
