He is an alumnus of UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he earned his Master of Prosthetics and Orthotics. He completed both his residency in prosthetics and orthotics at Kootenai Prosthetics and Orthotics in Post Falls, ID. His excellence and commitment to the profession, serving as the Chair of the Upper Limb Prosthetics Society since 2017 as well as volunteering in other capacities, have earned him the prestigious honor of Fellow with Distinction from the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists. He is a past recipient of the NCOPE Larry Lange Travel Fellowship, The OPERF Fellowship Award, and the OPERF Student Award.
