• Inspect safety devices and alarms Respond to and investigate any concerns and complaints.• Manage the daily activities of the Security and Safety Services department ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. • Ensure a safe and secure environment for all guest and employees and that protection is provided for the physical property. • Partner with Director Security and Safety Services to develop and implement procedures regarding emergencies • Assist with the preparation of the Safety Services budget. Determine requirements for increasing property safety and recommend new equipment based on requirements. • Monitor internal and external investigations and interviews preventing liability by evaluating all possible consequences to the hotel mg. • Coordinate all loss prevention functions (i.e. security, safety and first aid) to meet property and guest needs. Provide reports to management concerning trends and losses. • Identify and evaluate conditions which could produce accidents, injuries or financial losses. Provide recommendations pertaining to findings for senior management evaluation. • Represent the property in responding to and resolving all guest issues regarding safety. • Provide training for the Security and Safety Services staff. • Perform other duties as assigned

• Plans, develops, implements, administers and modifies a comprehensive System Safety and Security Program which includes emergency response and recovery that ensures compliance with applicable laws, codes, regulations and guidelines I• Investigates safety and health complaints submitted by management, employees, committee members, and the concurrent accident investigations, supplemental reporting and risk analysis assessment and evaluates concerns and alternatives, resolves complaints and makes recommendations to senior management for corrective action• Prepares and administers the program’s budget• Instructor for Safety lectures including practical training• Manages and responds to security, safety and emergency response on a 24-7 on-call basis• Develops and implements goals, objectives, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines for achieving program compliance• Oversees all aspects of System Safety and Security Program elements in such diverse areas as workplace occupational safety and identifies workplace hazards provides corrective action • Reviews plans for new construction and modification to existing structures; • Participates in/on a variety of meetings, professional organizations, committees, and other related groups; • Manages the development and implementation of departmental goals, objectives, policies, and priorities; establishes appropriate services, staffing levels, and resource allocations• Reports directly to The General Manager.• Performs other related duties as assigned
