While working with SRR, I was involved in several civil and construction projects of varying scope, scale, and complexity. I was part of the material testing laboratory team in a Road upgrade and rehabilitation project.Duties:Performed and supervised material investigation tests to determine; soil constants, densities, moisture contents and soil stabilization. As well as, concrete casting inspections, curing and crushing of concrete cubes to determine the strength of concrete used in structures constructed in the project.Also, assisted in the bituminous concrete (asphalt) mix design and testing; mix design proportions, preparation of marshall specimen, immersion index, flow and stability test, bulk relative density, grading, core sampling and determination of bitumen contentPreparing the materials laboratory monthly reportsCompiling and summarizing all lab test results in a form of an excel worksheet on a computerConducting structures and road works inspection to ensure they are as to the design specifications
