World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) - seeks to generate a movement around increasing the private sector’s impact towards a sustainable future for all. In 2015, the United Nations developed 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to help guide us. The Shrimp Sustainable Supply Chain Task Force (Shrimp Task Force) was formed to tackle these issues. ASC - Vision: A world where aquaculture plays a major role in supplying food and social benefits for mankind without negatively impacting the environment.ASC - Mission: To transform aquaculture towards environmental and social sustainability using efficient market mechanisms which create value across the chain.Responsibilities:- Member of ASC's Senior Management Team (SMT)- Implementation and day-to-day management of all (8) ASC species-specific standards for aquaculture- Review and revising of ASC's standards- Management of ASC's accreditation methodology for Conformity Assessment Bodies- Management of ASC's certification methodology for aquaculture farms- ASC's compliance with all 3 codes of ISEAL (http://www.isealalliance.org) - Team management (ASC Standards Team)- Development of Quality Assurance methodology (for audit reports)- Development of Auditor Training (and training execution by external trainers)Results:- Implemented 8 standards (had these field-tested, developed training materials, organised training sessions globally, set up and managed back office organisation)- Developed and implemented ASC's Certification and Accreditation Requirements (CAR v1.0, updated now to improved v2.0), describing all requirements for the accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies and for certification processes for farms.- Operationally responsible for the ASC main office (including 2 moves to new offices)- Setting up and line managing the ASC Standards Team- Project management for several projects (all multi-stakeholder, all multi-cultural)- (Re)presenting ASC at many conferences, trade shows, tv, radio, written press (internationally)- Implemented and managing an IT system, which we had developed by external IT consultants

Monkey Business' mission is to prevent the Orang Utan from going extinct and to preserve its habitat: the tropical forests in which they live. It does so by raising funds in The Netherlands and by raising awareness for the critical situation the Orangs are in. Its approach is positive by nature and solution oriented. Its prime target group is between 18 and 35. Creating both supply and demand for sustainably produced commodities, like palmoil, soy, fish. This through dialogues with companies, productboards, international forums like roundtables (eg. RSPO, RTRS), campaigns, partnerships etc.Embedded in a big international network, WWF, works globally to achieve its goals.
