Bas is a naval architect (Haarlem University of Professional Education) and gained years of work experience in ship design, product innovation, Rhino3D, production and management at OFD (Oscillating Foil Development), SBM, GustoMSC and Van der Giessen-de Noord. Bas specializes in concept ship design and alternative propulsion techniques. It was he who developed the O-foil technology in collaboration with expert and experienced partners. Unfortunately O-foil has ended after 7 years.
