The non-financial support include training, business advisory/counseling and consulting services. • I provide leadership and supervision on the activities and scope of support provided by the 27 contracted Business Development Service Provider (BDSP) firms. Each of the BDSP firms provides consulting services to 15 – 30 MSMEs within a period of 6 – 9 months, and I have the responsibility to ascertain and approved the quality of support received by the MSME beneficiaries prior to their qualification for grants.• I conduct field monitoring visits to the 27 contracted Business Development Service Providers and their allocated 695 MSMEs beneficiaries across the 36 states in all the 6 geo-political zones of the country. This function is to strengthen the performance of the service providers and ascertain the quality of service received by the beneficiaries. • I develop grant monitoring tracker for recruited 41 independent monitors working in all the 36 states to ensure compliance by the grant beneficiaries as stipulated in the grant manual.• I carry out independent review of submission by both the grant applicants and the Independent Monitor to ensure there is no compromise as stipulated in the grant manual.• I provide strategic support to colleague in carrying out baseline survey of all qualified GEM applicants on the grant scheme.• Regularly represent KPMG at various strategic meeting with different project stakeholders on matters relating to the grant scheme.
