NOC Operations and Monitoring Tool Administration (HP OpenView/Network Node Manager, Orion Solarwinds and HP OVIS and Nagios)

• Monitor network management systems such as HP NNMi, OVIS, SolarWinds, Nagios, SS7, Cisco works, OP Manger and analyzing reported alarms on routers, Tin's, and the WAN/LAN.• Log problems completely and accurately into the Remedy trouble ticketing system• Identify, isolate and escalate problems to the appropriate group(s), internally and externally related to LAN/WAN, SS7, hosted and licensed sales host applications, power issues, Oracle database, and various servers supported internally for corporate use.• Ability to follow standard operating procedures during troubleshooting in order to maintain contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA) up-time objectives.• Understanding the concepts of the Digital Access Cross Connect System (DACCS) to include terminology, standard port assignments for network connectivity, movement of assigned T1 circuits between Tin's and assignment of test access ports to T1 circuits.• Maintain a timely publication of the Network Operations Center Daily Report.• Arrive early for each shift as needed to ensure clear and concise communications between shifts during handoff. • Perform scheduled shift tasks as needed to ensure all monitoring and production systems are functions properly• Monitor server performance & report on hardware and software asset inventory• Log problems completely and accurately into the Remedy trouble ticketing system• Ensure smooth running & upkeep of all networks, hardware and software components on 24/7 NOC. • Achieving Major Customer satisfaction and developing customer relationship, Timely support to escalate customer issues. • Log problems completely and accurately into the Remedy trouble ticketing system• Willing to work in shifts, 24x7 operations support and attending day to day activities related to NOC operations.
