In my role as a Network Support Engineer at VTEL Company, I have been responsible for a wide range of network-related tasks, including:Maintaining, Monitoring, and troubleshooting the hardware/software implementation for firewall devices such as Fortinet, Paloalto, and Sophos. Routing and switching Juniper MX960, Cisco devices for shared lines, data links, leased lines clients. In addition to creating services for these lines and configuring them using OLT manager in terms of VLAN's, and its type of connectivity if its either a router or bridge which includes either a PPPoE or DHCP connection.Implementing an optical fiber connection between OLT and ODF.Managing and configuring primary and backup internet links to guarantee continuous network connectivity and minimize service interruptions for FTTB clients.Monitoring network performance using tools like Splynx, OpManager and proactively taking measures to optimize network efficiency.Designing and implementing network upgrades and expansions to accommodate the growing needs for the clients.Monitoring for any Fiber cuts and disruption occur and report them back to the concerned department.Providing technical support to end-users and addressing their network-related inquiries or concerns.
