• Led the organisation’s all-round community engagement activities including organizing and coordinating community advocacy, townhall engagement meetings, relationship building and engagement with state and local government officials, community, and religious leaders.• Initiated, designed, set-up and managed the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded Community Health Watch project to improve accountability in the primary healthcare system in Nigeria. The project reports on experiences of community members accessing healthcare and health workers providing care in communities across Nigeria. Managed overall delivery of the project, which included hiring and training of community health monitors, organising and moderating townhall engagement meetings and supervising the sourcing and production of more than 40 reports from different communities in Nigeria. • Successfully managed and moderated Nigeria Health Watch’s first subnational policy dialogue on primary healthcare in Kano State, Nigeria with the theme Strengthening Human Resources for Health and Achieving Sustainable Financing for Primary Health Care. The policy dialogue had more than 100 participants, with speakers and panellists from local and international organizations and senior national and state health officials. • Managed two primary healthcare stakeholder meetings in Niger and Kano States, Nigeria. The meetings deliberated the state of primary healthcare delivery in the two states and ways forward. The meetings had attendance from various stakeholders in primary healthcare in the states. • Part of the team that conducted the State of Primary Health Care Assessment in Nigeria, 2019-2021 by a consortium of One Campaign, National Advocates for Health, and Nigeria Health Watch.
