Assistant Reservations Manager - Suite Reservations Department • To assist the reservations manager in order to ensure the smooth and efficient daily operation of the reservation operation, ensuring everyone contacting the Reservations Department receives an optimum level of services and care at all times.• To carry out regular spot checks within the department to ensure that the standards outlined in the standard task list are being adhered to.• To carry out, supervise and record… Show more Assistant Reservations Manager - Suite Reservations Department • To assist the reservations manager in order to ensure the smooth and efficient daily operation of the reservation operation, ensuring everyone contacting the Reservations Department receives an optimum level of services and care at all times.• To carry out regular spot checks within the department to ensure that the standards outlined in the standard task list are being adhered to.• To carry out, supervise and record cross training within the department as required, and within the guideline requirements of the group during the absence of Reservations Manager.• To conduct & document training and coaching for Reservations Sales Agents in the areas of telephone selling as directed by Revenue Manager and/or Reservations Manager.• To analyze the results of Telephone Test Calls as well as Customer Satisfaction Index, and assist Revenue Manager and Reservations Manager to take appropriate actions, follow up and record all necessary documents.• To advise the Front Rooms Division Director Of reservation requests received from VIP guests, embassy, consular or diplomatic missions, or any reservations received with extra ordinary requests• 7 and 3- day arrivals report checks are carried out on daily basis and make sure that all guest information are entered• To check the Reservations Trace report on a daily basis and allocate the outstanding tasks to the Sales Agents and ensure that all traces are suitably resolved at the end of each working day.• To assist the Team Leader/Sales Agents in their duties as required.• To ensure that the Reservations team is aware of all promotional rates and packages.• To check Reservation entered On and By on daily basis and check all the reservation made by colleagues and file the report.• To check the No Show Report on Daily basis.• To review all incoming correspondence and distribute to the reservation staff for action.• To review all the outgoing correspondences Show less
