There was no better place to expand my creative experiences from full self reliance and independent to being a part of an interactive team atmosphere than J. Walter Thompson. Working with various departments and an evolving team of creatives, my responsibility gladly grew past the pillars of Art Direction. Being directly involved with campaign ideation and design, managing execution, and directing social media photoshoots. As I took on more responsibilities, my creative knowledge was moulded with a whole, well-rounded and comprehensive understanding of advertising within the region. As important as the work has been, I equally valued the people as they are the foundation of the creative work. Rather an unconventional introduction to this journey, I had an impulsive decision to launch my own branding agency. Chasing clients, pitching for brands from all sorts of industries was the essence of every project. I learnt more than I could take, and I say that humbly. Communication remained as important as execution, as the year built a stronger foundation to my creative and managerial growth. from corporate identity for global brands to product design and digital campaigns, creative was the core drive of my work as I made my way to the corporate world of advertising, nearing my next step, J. Walter Thompson.

Working closely with the COVA Group team was a nurturing experience at an early stage in my career. Branding, print and presentations were my bread and butter, utilising 3D design with 2D statics. This year was a special way to be introduced to the creative industry because of the immediate heavy workload and steep learning curve. Working while completing my Master’s Degree in Milan seemed to be a juggling war; however the workload intensity allowed me to explore fast pace design delivery, as well as operate efficiently with a team.
