Promoted to RE. Airport Systems & Integration while working in the Midfield Terminal Project.In this position I was managing the site implementation, integration, commissioning and business functionality tests for the Airport Operations Systems Suite (AOS) which includes AODB, RMS, FIDS, CUTE/CUPPS, BRS, LDCS and CUSS.I'm also leading the team who is managing the Master Systems Integration (MSI) implementation for Airport special systems and other terminal systems including ELV, MEP, FLS and airside support systems.

In this position I work as the lead engineer for special airport systems delivery and design validation for the Midfield Terminal Complex (MTC). I’m responsible of delivering the SAS, security and extra low voltage systems design, implementing and integration. Directly managing the systems installation, integration and testing activities for:• Airport Operational Database (AODB).• Information Broker (IB) - IBM Web Sphere.• Flights Information Display System (FIDS).• Common Use Passengers Processing Systems (CUPPS).• Common Use Self Service (CUSS).• Information Kiosks (IK).• Travel Documents Authorization System (TDAS).• Voice over IP (VoIP).Managing systems integration activities for electrical, ELV, facially management and life safety systems like:• Building Management System (BMS).• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).• Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS).• Passengers Boarding Bridges (PBB).• Baggage Handling Systems (BHS).• Baggage Reconciliation System (BRS).• Preconditioned Air (PCA).• Ground Power Unit “400 Hz” (GPU).• Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA).• Electrical Power Metering & Control System (EPMCS)• Fire Alarm System & Public Address (FAS & PA).• Security Access Control System (SACS).• Ramp Services Management System (RSMS).

In this position I was handing all the project management activities related to the IT systems and services delivery and leading the systems design and delivery teams in delivering infrastructure solutions, including:• Backbone and horizontal cabling including intelligent patching systems (IPS).• Network active equipment (Core, distribution and edge switches, firewalls, router and route reflectors).• Physical and virtual server’s (VMWare & Hyper-V).• Physical and Virtual Storage (SAN, NAS and VSAN).• Unified communications and call centers solutions based on asterisk IP PBX, XMPP servers and integrating with Cisco, Nortel, Avaya and Microsoft Lync.• Software development for access control system using ASP.Net, C#.Net and Microsoft Azure SDK.• Software development for a cloud based social media analytics platform.• Software development for a bilingual sentiment analysis platform which is used as a plugin for our social media analytics engine. • REST/SOAP API development for mobile applications.• SQL server management, clusters & Always On.• NO SQL for big data storing and processing (MongoDB).

In this position I worked on managing the electrical, life safety, facility management and special airport systems implementation and integration in addition to the preparation and execution of the transition period activities which included the migration plans for the old airport systems and data to the new data centers. I also worked on designing and implementing the whole telephony solution for the group on top of ASTERISK IP PBX and integrating with the existing Nortel and Cisco implementations.I also worked on: • Preparing the integration requirements for critical airport systems.• Preparing the integration and migration documents.• Designing and implementing the airport virtual environment using a hybrid architecture (Hyper-V, VMware).• Designing and implementing the physical and virtual storage platforms (SAN, NAS and VSAN). • Managed all the systems migration activities during the terminal transition period.

In this position I worked on software development activates for multiple systems including, shipments tracking, accounting, HR, CRM and mobile devices (Windows and iOS). I also worked on developing a contact center platform integrated with ARAMEX operational systems and the AVAYA VoIP.Developed an electronic data interchange platform (EDI) to be used as an enterprise service bus (ESB) which handles all real time data exchange between ARAMEX entities worldwide. I worked on multiple software development platforms and IDEs but mainly on VB.Net, C#.Net, Java EE and Python scripts. I also worked on third party systems integration with ARAMEX shipping partners across the world using REST and Soap web services, WebAPIs and Amazon cloud services.
