The Center for Accelerating Practices to End Suicide (CAPES) is one of 7 transdisciplinary research centers across the country funded by the NIMH to develop, refine, and test effective and scalable approaches to reduce suicide rates in the United States. As the Operation unit lead, I oversee and manage all CAPES related activities within it's methods and admin cores, and all research projects.Our work aims to leverage technological advances in the space of suicide prediction and prevention to create innovative tools to aid clinicians in decision making and treatment of patients who present to emergency departments.

As adjunct assistant professor, I contributed to the educational programs at MCPHS via developing and teaching “Clinical Trials” curriculum to second year pharmacy students.My clinical responsibilities included- Collaborated closely with the principal investigator to execute and manage clinical trials inaccordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and study protocols.- Assisted in participant recruitment, screening, and informed consent procedures, ensuring strictadherence to eligibility criteria.- Administered study interventions and closely monitored participants' progress throughout the trial,recording data accurately and maintaining detailed case report forms.- Played a key role in adverse event reporting, promptly documenting and reporting any unexpectedevents to the principal investigator and study sponsor as required.- Managed the reporting process to the Institutional Review Board (IRB), ensuring timely andaccurate submissions of study protocols, amendments, and adverse event reports.- Maintained meticulous trial documentation, including source documents and case report forms,and assisted in regulatory submissions and audits.- Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including study coordinators and research staff, toensure effective communication, participant enrollment, and data collection.
