Production Planning Control Manager
Current• Oversee Operations Management, Production Planning, & Maintenance Management, and Control activities within the organization. • Develop production plans, budgets, and timelines according to production specifications.• Perform maintenance management by supervising maintenance/upkeep personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules.• Formulate strategic and operational objectives.• Direct an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials.• Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements.• Supervise team members in their assigned job duties.• Organize training for employees to achieve production objectives.• Ensure that the team follows security and safety policies.• Manage data collection for updating metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems.• Attend daily meetings to prioritize and plan production activities to maintain on-time delivery.• Review daily reports to identify and address equipment malfunctions, material shortages, and other factory issues.• Certify that finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications.• Determine equipment, materials, and manpower required to complete production.• Perform inventory management for timely delivery and for minimizing transportation charges.• Work closely with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities are compliant in all aspects.• Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.• Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to top leadership.• Assist in employee hiring, training, performance evaluation, and retention activities.• Orchestrate excellent working relationships with contractors and service providers.
