1. Visit market for better and new sources/items/suppliers if required on as and when basis.2. Analyze the purchase request received from departments / branches duly approved by RD in respect of budget approval and determine the appropriate method of procurement.3. After due verification of requested demand, collection of quotation from relevant vendors approved by HO Commercial/ Director Commercial (Especially from Channel Partners, Distributors, Manufacturers & Dealers).4. Review & Negotiate on the received Quotations and prepare comparative statement with respect to availability, quality, timely delivery, pricing and after sales services etc. 5. Submit comparative statement along with relevant documents for approval to RD for Decentralized items and to Director Commercial for Centralized items.6. Follow up with Admin Department RO for timely generation of Purchase Requisitions. Raise Purchase Order in ERP System on the basis of Comparative statement to be approved by Director Commercial. 7. Pre delivery inspection report to be submitted to HO as and when required and advised by RD/Director Commercial. 8. Delegating projects and tasks to junior staff.9. Helping the source alternative items10. Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery to RO/Branches through Administration Department RO.11. Follow up with Administration Department for GRN’s, after receipt of GRN’s, prepare complete set of documents for Accounts Department to release payments within due date.12. Fulfill the requirements as per auction policy. 13. Update Director Commercial on Functional/ Operational matters through Daily Tracking Sheet (DTS).14. Ensure that Company Policies and Procedures are followed in true letter and spirit.
