As the IT Business Partner to the Clinical Development Organization, I work very closely with the key business and IT stakeholders, and am responsible to lead all aspects of IT support for R&D Clinical including strategy development, solution identification & implementation, ongoing operational support, risk management, and relationship management. Transitioned Clinical Operations legacy application landscape from proprietary locally oriented solutions to SaaS based industry standard global solution – Implemented Parexel IMPACT solution - Progress/Mysites/CCT/Investigators DB. • Led one of the most complex data integration project between 28 on-premise applications with a Cloud based solution utilizing SAP Process Orchestration/Process Integration (SAP PO/PI) technology, J2EE, Oracle and other Web technologies.• Led people and managed all Business-as-usual activities to ensure business continuity while revamping of the Clinical Operations Application Landscape to the new model.• Responsible for forecasting, planning and managing a budget of over $47M including contract management, vendor management (SaaS vendors as well as managed service providers), internal/external stakeholder management and strategy alignment.• Implemented Run Governance with managed service providers, and technology sourcing partners to free up internal resources for high value added business engagement activities.

My responsibilities include managing the global operations of our Clinical Trial Management System. When you are running trials in more than 30 countries simultaneously that includes thousands of Investigators, Patients, Trial Monitors, Statisticians, CRAs/MRAs, TCMs/TDMS and many other support functions, you need a global systems that is robust, stable and secured. I have been promoted three times in six years, between 1999 and 2005, from System Analyst I to System Analyst II to Principal System Analyst to Senior Principal Software Engineer. During this period I have developed multiple applications using multiple technologies which includes Java, VB/VBA, PL/SQL, Oracle, Cognos and OBIEE. During 2004/2005 timeframe, I have led the global CTMS harmonization project consolidating servers/databases from around the world into our headquarter in Germany.
