Focusing on computational methods for anisotropic material problems and Mechanics ofMaterials.* PhD research focused on homogenization theories for highly porous and cellular solids and rocksmechanics. Specifically, I modeled the mechanical response of porous materials under loading. Thematerial models are constructed from micrographs (Quant3D software) of the actual porous materialmicrograph such as ceramics and rocks.* I also used the concept of the fabric tensor to predict elastic constants as a function of solid density.* Stress and strain analysis s and developed BEM model to compare* Developed BEM code and to study influence of volume fraction on the elastic constants.* Studied a FEA numerical model using ABAQUSTMto investigate the emechanicalresponse in porous solids.
