1.Initiate and develops NRC Shelter/WASH Infrastructural Designs and supervision of construction2.Liaise and collaborate with relevant local authorities, Line ministries/clusters, and the project beneficiaries.3.Take part in project activity reporting work including midterm project reporting, activity progress reporting, Baseline surveys, and end-line surveys analysis4.Participate in the tendering process including pre-qualifying contractors, evaluations, and awards Lead in overall planning and design ofprojects5.Prepare tender documents for construction works including technical drawings, specifications of works, Bills of Quantities, and conditions of contracts Review Contract claims, analyze and recommend6.Prepare documents for final handover and closure of projects variation orders7.Provide technical input in the general supervision, the progress of construction activities, and control of the quality of materials and workmanship8.Ensure that procurement, development, and distribution of materials and equipment are timely and9.Participate in the expansion, development,coordination, and management of NRC's Shelter, and WASH projects in the designated region, and represent NRC in the WASH/Shelter cluster meetings.10.Carry out informal and formal training sessions for staff and beneficiaries (according to identified needs). according to procedures11.Contribute proper project documentation12.Assess the completion of works, recommend payments, and prepare interim and final payment13.Prepare the monthly cash and payment forecast.14. Carry out settlement exercises and develop the site plans for Wash/shelter construction certificates

1.Responsible for conducting the infrastructural, risk and safety assesment in 95 AGES Expansion target schools. (42-Banadir, 53-SouthWest, 15-Hirshabelle).2.Responsible for the development of technical and architectural designs, BoQs for renovation/rehabilitation and construction of new classrooms/WASH Facilities as per the assesment report.3.Support the development of technical specifications for tendering/procurement process for the Banadir, Southwest and Hirshabelle. target schools.4.Regular supervision of the construction /rehabilitation of schools and provide regulara technical support to contractors through out the construction period to ensure complete compliance with drawings, technical specification and various stipulations contained in the contract documents.5.Provide technical support to the program management team with regard to technical challenges encountered during project implementation.6.Develope and maintain good relationships and lines of communication with relevant local authorities and communities, explaining project activities.
