Project Director:Design, Procurement, Construction, Fabrication, Installation & Commissioning of green field ethanol project on sugar cane molasses.Selection of ethanol technology partner "TECHNIP" based on resultant project cost, scope of co-operation and plant operational KPI's( output liters of ethanol/day, utility consumption/output & final product quality. Finalization of turnkey contract with UEM INC. USA for the construction, erection & commissioning of 2500 M3 anaerobic waste water plant to generate biogas for boiler and reduce COD load in the effluent.Detailed design & manufacturing key equipment (distillation columns & shell tube heat exchangers) in coordination with technology supplier and engineering services provider using computer aided design tools and following established engineering standards.Supervision of complete civil works for the project. Procurement of material/supplies/equipment & machinery for civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control jobs from global suppliers from start to finish.Integration, sequencing & coordination of team members & project activities relating to civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control jobs to complete the project work optimally and seamlessly. Project recognized for its excellent product quality and reliability amongst its international customers. Other Improvements/Strategic asset addition & Ongoing Jobs;Delivered advanced value addition proposition through co-generating excess electricity with same fuel employing super saturated steam cycles and exporting excess electricity for in house captive use in steel melting facility. Worked in the position of resident technical director to revive the non -operational mills. Preparation of comprehensive revival plans, implementation of balancing, modernization & rehabilitation plans to improve reliability of operations and expansion of capacity from 2500 Tons Cane per day to 6000 Tons Cane per day with minimal capital expenditures.Transferred the know-how and best practices learnt to Project Indus Sugar Mills Ltd. for enhancing capacity from 6500 TCD to 12000 TCD in collaboration with reputed technology suppliers.Applied the knowledge of sugar mills to setup a green field project Etihad Sugar Mills Ltd. capacity 8000 TCD managing all functions and disciplines of the project.
