In the insurance and financial industry, experience matters. I started my career with State Farm the Summer I graduated high school, when I was hired by a local State Farm agent in my home town. It wasn't long before I realized the impact that quality insurance and financial planning can make in a person's life. While attending Michigan State University full time to earn a degree in business, I simultaneously worked for State Farm agents and learned how to position a client's auto, home, life and disability insurance plan to best protect their family income and their assets. After graduating, I spent time working as a specialist for State Farm, where I assisted 40 independent contractor agents with management of their business. We consulted on everything from sales and prospecting to building systems and processes to deliver quality customer experiences. During this time I learned from some of the best State Farm Agents in our company on how to build and effectively lead a team as well as skills and insights that would position me to manage and grow a small business that is defined by consistently putting customer needs first. Over the years, I have developed a passion for educating customers on how to design their insurance defense plan as well as providing guidance on helping people realize and achieve their financial goals and dreams. I love that State Farm allows me to offer everything from insurance, to banking to financial planning as it positions me to be an asset to my customers, and my experience as a small business owner gives me a unique perspective and understanding of some of the risks and challenges other business owners face. As I stated before, experience matters when it comes to protecting the things that are most important and I look forward to continuing to contribute to the Rochester Hills and surrounding community.
