The Office of Immigration Litigation oversees all civil immigration litigation, both affirmative and defensive, and it is responsible for coordinating national immigration matters before the federal district courts and circuit courts of appeals. Office of Immigration Litigation trial attorneys provide support and counsel to all federal agencies involved in alien admission, regulation, and removal under U.S. immigration and nationality statutes. Office of Immigration Litigation attorneys litigate cases before federal district courts and circuit courts of appeals and work closely with United States Attorneys' Offices on immigration cases.

Bar exam tutor and grader. Work with students who are applying to take bar exams in Maryland and District of Columbia. Review essays on various legal subjects tested on the bar exam and provide feedback to students on their legal writing. Monitor the students' overall writing progress in preparation for the bar exam.

Prosecute criminal and traffic cases in District Court of Maryland for Baltimore City. Perform duties that include preparation of cases for trial and interviewing victims and witness to gather information. Research relevant case law and codes applicability to case and determine appropriate dispositions, recommendations, and guidelines. Supervise support staff. Special duties include prosecution of Identity Theft and Fraud cases in District Court. Conduct joint investigations with the ICE that involve illegal aliens that committed crime in Baltimore City.
