Responsible for: feasibility studies and data collection; survey of pipeline routes and dealing with various planning authorities to obtain final route approvals; supervision of drafting/preparation of contract drawings; pipeline profile design; local distribution network design; connection detailing; preparation of BOQ’s; and project budget estimates.Also responsible for future water services correspondence with both Contractors and Consultants for the sizing and location of future water ducts on the behalf of the Water & Electricity Department, Al Ain, as the water distribution Master Plan Phase III Consultants. This has allowed me to identify and report on newly developed/developing areas requiring water distribution, together with areas of proposed/planned development in and around the Al Ain area to form part of Phase IV of the Master Plan. The total estimated cost of future works calculated to be Dhs. 400M ($110M) comprising of primary and secondary distribution mains to over 40 new water networks.
