• 2014-2020: Software Testing of the Modernized Tax Return Database (MTRDB); this application is used to store the data from submitted Tax Returns. o Prepared Test Cases and Test Data for Tax Return Style Sheet and Schema Verification Requirements. The Test Cases were stored in the RQM application.o Execute Test Cases using the application Pegasus.o Analyze/verify test results for Acceptance and Maintenance testing. o Issues found during testing were recorded to a problem reporting application, HP Service Manager. o The application tested resided on the IBM mainframe and the testing was done in a PC environment (Windows 7). • 2012-2014: System Acceptance Test of a new IRS application, Review Return Program (RRP); this application will be used to detect fraud and non-compliance of submitted Tax Returns. o Prepared Test Cases and Test Data for System Requirements and Rules. The Test Cases were stored in the RQM application.o Execute Test Cases.o Execute SQL queries, using PGAdmin, on a Greenplum Database to verify the test results. o Issues found during testing were recorded to a problem reporting application, HP Service Manager. • 2011-2012: Software Testing of the Modernized E-File (MeF) IRS application; this application is used to verify the validity of submitted electronic tax returns.o Prepared Test Cases for Rules using the application Pegasus.o Execute Test Cases using the application Pegasus.o Analyze/verify test results for Acceptance and Maintenance testing. o Issues found during testing were recorded to a problem reporting application, HP Service Manager. o The application tested resided on the IBM mainframe and the testing was done in a PC environment (Windows XP).

• Software testing of applications for the Department of Justice (DOJ) Agency. These applications were driven by an Oracle database and were web based client/server. o Participated in the Testing phase of several Projects; each Project involved the complete life cycle for a new application.o Prepared Test Plans and Test Cases for each Project.o Execute Test Cases for Acceptance, Regression and Maintenance Testing. The testing was done in a PC environment (Windows XP). o Issues found during testing were recorded to a problem reporting application, Dimensions.o Analyse/Verify Test Results, which included preparing/executing SQL queries. o Performance Testing was done for some applications using Load Runner. o Test Analysis Reports documenting the Test Results, to include problems found and resolution, were prepared at the conclusion of testing for each application.o Attended meetings throughout the life cycle of each Project.

• Software testing of applications for the Government Accountability Office (GAO) Agency. These applications were driven by Oracle and MySQL databases, were web based client/server, and included complicated search functions to locate GAO document records.o Prepared Test Plans and Test Cases.o Execute Test Cases for Maintenance and Regression Testing. The testing was done in a PC environment (Windows XP). o Issues found during testing were recorded to a problem reporting application, StarTeam.o Analyse/Verify Test Results, which included preparing/executing SQL queries using the TOAD application.

• Software testing of Flight Dynamics space systems, for the ACE, XTE, and TRMM spacecraft missions; these tasks were performed for NASA, GSFC.o Prepared Test Plans and Test Cases.o Execute Test Cases for Maintenance and Regression Testing.o Test Problem Reports were prepared for issues found during testing, and submitted to the Developers.o Test Summary Reports were prepared at the conclusion of testing, and included all Test Results.o The Flight Dynamics Support systems tested were, (1) General Maneuver Program (GMAN), (2) Real Time Attitude Determination System (RTADS), (3) Mission Operations Planning and Scheduling System (MOPSS), (4) FDF Orbital and Mission Aids Transformation System (FORMATS), (5) User Planning System (UPS), (6) Generic Spacecraft Analyst Assistant (GenSAA)/Generic Inferential Executor (Genie), and (7) Automated Mission Operations System (AMOS).o The testing was done on either, (a) PC environment (Windows 95 and Windows NT), or (b) HP workstation using Xoftware Windows in a UNIX environment.

• Software testing of the Personnel and Payroll System for the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)o Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) for Y2K testing. o Review and Verification of test results for Baseline, Regression, and Y2K testing.o Preparation of Test Reports and Y2K Compliance Packages.

• Performed Integration, System, and Acceptance testing on spacecraft Attitude Ground Support System (AGSS) mission software (data simulator, data processor, data adjuster, differential corrector, Kalman filter, Quest, and other attitude utility programs) for the SAMPEX, FAST, SWAS, and TRMM spacecraft missions; these tasks were performed for NASA, GSFC. This entailed developing test plans, performing detailed procedures to test and analyze/ evaluate the functions of the software, and preparing test summary reports. The testing was done on either (a) HP workstation using Xoftware Windows in a UNIX environment, or (b) IBM mainframe using TSO, ISPF, and JCL, or (c) PC environment (Windows 95), or (d) VAX computer. MATLAB and MATHCAD programs were written to validate the software system tested. Also performed testing of attitude software for Y2K compliance.• Developed mathematical specifications and functional specifications for AGSS software for the FAST mission.• Pre-launch mission analysis studies on solar eclipses. Developed mathematical specifications, functional specifications, program specifications, and performed testing/verification, for an analysis task to predict and generate the outline on the Earth’s surface of solar eclipses, as required for the UARS mission. The mathematical and functional specifications employed a theory of solar eclipses formulated by the mathematician Bessel. • Mission analysis studies on spacecraft orbit determination. These studies used the Goddard Trajectory Determination System (GTDS); a software package used for studies in orbit analysis, and tested enhancements to GTDS such as the effects of a new gravitational model or variations in tracking data distributions on the orbit of a spacecraft. The spacecraft missions studied were TDRS, ERBS, and LANDSAT5.
