Health Safety Environment Engineer
Current•Prepare and submit documents for prequalification and tender submissions like client prequalification checklist & supporting documents, HSE plan, Risk assessments, procedures etc•Attend and participate in client prequalification audits and submit corrective action plans and closeouts after the audit•Conduct HSE audits on subcontractors and prepare audit reports•Carrying out subcontractor prequalification audits and facility inspections•Submit observation reports, weekly reports, monthly reports, near miss and incident reports to client•Act as focal point between client HSE team and company management•Submitting quarterly performance reports, cost reports, incident investigation reports and audit reports to local regulatory authority in Abu Dhabi (OSHAD & IDB)•Plan and conduct mock drills and preparing drill reports•Act as head of incident investigation team to lead the team, collect evidences, and prepare reports.•Schedule HSE committee meetings and circulating minutes of meeting•Conducting training need analysis and preparing training matrix, plan, schedule and training PPT slides•Preparing emergency evacuation plan, procedures, escape routes and appointing ERT members•Preparing inspection schedules and arranging third party inspection for equipment and lifting tackles•Selecting suitable candidates as first aiders and fire fighters and arranging third party trainings for them•Coordinate with AMC contractor for emergency and scheduled visits of fire protection system•Preparing safety signage, posters, traffic control signs and tags•Preparing and submitting management reports like monthly and yearly HSE statistics•Attending management review meetings and providing advices on areas of improvement•Attending management and client walkthrough visits•Planning and organizing safety campaigns•Preparing lifting plan, organizing meeting before the lift and communicating responsibilities•Documentation according to ISO 14001 & 45001 requirements.
