Serving as SHO at the emergency department, providing care to a wide range of medical and surgical cases, including adult and pediatrics age group. Initial assessment, Triaging, Stabilisation, and diagnosis, with discharge planning or referral for the designated deparmtents.

IMTH A&E is approximately 50-60 beds Emergency department, which are dispensed into 5 Zones: Triage, Accidents & Trauma, Resuscitation area, Emergency Department Critical care (EDCC) area with 8 Ventilator Devices, and yellow zone for stable patients.As A medical officer (SHO), I work under the supervision of Registrars and specialists. SHO’s rotate through all these zones in consecutive weeks to get the maximum exposure to various clinical cases, dealing with all types of emergencies including trauma patients.My responsibilities include assessment of all emergency and trauma cases as first respondent, resuscitation including BLS and ACLS, requesting and interpreting investigations and formulating the plan of care under supervision. I also participate in emergency interventions such as Central line insertion and intubation & Mechanical Ventilation.

As a team member in the COVID-19 Isolation Command Center operation my responsibilities included but not limited to:- Providing clinical decisions aid to doctors working in COVID-19 isolation centers through telemedicine together with the ICC consultants and specialist and through center visits and direct support when needed. -Responding to calls and providing support to public regarding COVID-19 (health information, directing to nearest facility with the service needed, providing EMS support and Home care services when needed).- Visits to isolation centers and regular reporting and evaluation. - Helping in the documentation and the organization of Sudan COVID-19 registry.

1- Tutoring students in a skill lab setting on basic surgical techniques 2- Conducting clinical rounds for 5th year medical students3- Contributing to organising the practical exams at the Department of surgery

Airport Emergency Clinic is a 5-bed clinic in Khartoum International Airport. As A medical officer (SHO), I worked under the supervision an Aviation Medicine specialist. My responsibilities included assessment of all emergency and trauma cases in the Airport, resuscitation including BLS and ACLS, stabilization and safe transfer & handover to designated hospitals. I was also responsible for assessment of Fitness fly for sick passengers. The medical staff also receive calls and respond to medical emergencies aboard the planes arriving or departing the Airport, and is also involved in the Mass Causality management
