• Oversee the creation of the OTR Electric Recharge business plan • Develop the site selection model and a product roadmap, including business requirements • Work with OTR’s construction team and stakeholders to ensure the product, site and network design are well planned for customer appeal, utilisation, capital efficiency and operating margin • Drive required outcomes for OTR in the procurement of charging infrastructure, energy and software • Analyse and recommend development or procurement of operational monitoring and maintenance services • Identify and apply for grants and other funding opportunities to reduce the cost of OTR’s i nvestment • Define the approach to customer service and implementation and develop financial forecasts, including revenue and cost models • Design and implement business and operational processes and training in support of the plan • Develop (with Marketing) a program to deliver on business objectives for consumers • Work with OTR’s Fuel business unit and all strategic partners to develop and implement a strategy and plan for the Government and Fleet market • Lead the implementation of the overall EV recharge plan, prioritising activities to deliver optimum returns • Maintain a deep understanding of the energy transition, global trends, key players, competitors, and business models and recommended strategic partnerships • Define business requirements for Charger software and digital solutions and worked with the IT manager to oversee the delivery

• Manage the government co-funding in public fast-charging through the Low Emission Transport Fund • Engage extensively with Electricity Distribution Businesses to remove barriers for public charging providers • Participate in cross-government working groups to identify/remove policy gaps to promote private investment in public fast-charging stations • Explore new fast charging technologies (Hydrogen, Solar, battery buffered) to fill road-network gaps at the grid and electricity-network-constrained locations• Leverage international research and resources to influence co-funding outcomes for the public benefit

• Foster strong Government and Non-Government stakeholder relationships with MoT, NZTA, MfE, MBIE, NZGPP, AT, Auckland Council, AA, Vector, ChargeNet, Drive electric, OEMs, research institutes, universities and many more • Lead Evaluations of EECA’s transport programs and development of the Govt Low emission fleet transition program. • Present research papers at conferences and university seminars • Head government low-emission fleet budget bid providing Strategic, Economic, Commercial, Financial and management business case analysis • Co-designed and participated in “Transport Knowledge Hubs” sub-groups for MoT’s policy research Centre • Peer-reviewed at least 15 research papers and provided a detailed analysis of public submissions for policy proposals
