Our research helps investors identify risks in the financial statements and other disclosures of the companies in which they invest. Companies identified as a risk through our rigorous research process have historically significantly underperformed their peers and the market as a whole.• Conduct forensics accounting equity research on publicly traded companies across various industries in different regions such as North America, Europe and Asia. I validate the financial statement figures compiled by Factset, a data service provider, through looking at the SEC or company website. I then apply forensic accounting techniques to highlight key financial trends, write commentaries based on the trends, and ultimately provide a financial risk ranking of the company. Once approved, the reports are published and sent to clients.• Assist senior analysts in gathering data for the Energy & Production (E&P), Construction & Engineering, Banking & Retail companies mostly listed in the United States. With respect to the E&P industry, I assist our senior analyst in standardizing the financial statements of roughly ten companies per quarter for comparative analysis. • Assist senior analysts in proactive research team efforts to generate company-specific and educational research reports• Responsible for fixing and updating the Biggest Concerns list performance.
