Lead the Registration Unit, which is responsible for ensuring that owners of Berkeley’s residential rental units comply with all registration requirements of the Berkeley Rent Ordinance. The unit is responsible for the annual assessment and collection of $5.1 million in annual fees that form the foundation of the Rent Board’s budget. The unit is also responsible for maintaining the agency’s rent registry to ensure the active enforcement of the Ordinance’s rent ceiling limits. Manages the implementation of Berkeley's Rent Board new database and CRM system. Represents the Rent Board in Small Claims Court. Served as Interim Manager of the Registration Unit for over 6 months.

Manages over 30 leases, licenses, and Memoranda of Understandings (MOU) for buildings in City parks, the Marina, and other properties. These properties range from small park buildings to large commercial leases at the City of Berkeley. Manage new leases/licenses and renewals from end-to-end which requires correspondence, negotiations, monitoring compliance, and finalizing documentation.
