My role was to encourage the involvement of people from the Community of Kirklees in Sports and Leisure activities, to create and coordinate sports development programmes, to increase participation and to raise standards, of health and well-being.

Ashbrow Ward, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

My Role was working with young people, individuals and groups, in the multi-diverse Community and Neighbourhoods of the Ashbrow Ward in particular Deighton, Brackenhall, Bradley, Birkby and Fixby. Through partnerships with a variety of organisations, and the local authority, in addition with facility support from the Deighton Sports Arena, we encourage and developed a variety of initiatives with the emphasis on sport, health, leisure activities and personal development.
