Quality Control Technician
Current• Perform all visual and final inspection steps per work instructions and product process plans in accordance with ViewStation.• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards based on relevant customer documents, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and/or customer specs.• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.• Responsible for “first off inspection” of the first 5 boards going through wave solder machine for each new job of each product being run.• Conduct inspection and relevant non-destructive testing methods to detect defects and/or ensure quality.• Ensure the parts are installed on the board as per BOMs and ViewStation.• Ensure workmanship conforms to IPC 610 Standards.• Perform specialized inspections and various non-destructive testing methods to evaluate results and verify that all processes are performed to the documentation.• Calibrate inspection and testing equipment; organize inspection results and report all issues to QC Supervisor.• Make sure housekeeping is being done at all areas and is maintained at all times.• Ensure that each board is being properly scanned through Tecnomatix, read Tecnomatixinstructions in relevant training aids for any doubts.• Understand that not scanning board and performing the operation without using ViewStation during operation may be cause for dismissal.• Bring all scanning related issues to the attention of the QC Supervisor.• Handle and store materials/boards using ESD guidelines.• Ensure quality standards are maintained all through the production.• Position may involve physical demands such as lifting of heavy objects.• Perform any other relevant tasks to help out any other area in production.• Perform other tasks as required.
