I worked in the road construction industry from 1995 - 2003 as a civil technician. I worked on various projects. During October of 2003 I join ArcelorMittal- Saldanha Steel. There I was employed as a civil technician and part of the engineering and projects team. I started off overseeing all civil maintenance works on site and later I had to manage civil projects. Some civil projects had multi million budgets. Unfortunately the plant was closed and we were retrench during February 2020. I managed to get a contract job at Eskom - Koeberg nuclear power station as a senior technician. I worked with the civil maintenance teams scheduling and manage maintenance works via SAP.
