I am a business professional with formal education and practical experience. As a General Manager of a 38 million dollar a year business I was able to assemble teams that worked collaboratively to meet goals and maintain high standards in a highly competitive fast paced market. I feel that I have an excellent command of contemporary business principles. Working as a facilitator it has been my responsibility to stay current with changes, concepts and issues we face in the business world. Teaching leadership courses in the MBA program at William Woods University I have developed new strategies and best practices for professionals in our business environment. This ongoing role continually offers opportunities for feedback from contemporaries and organizational leaders. In the role of a community college instructor I have had the opportunity to educate students from diverse backgrounds and different levels of ability. I have worked to help all students have a clear understanding of business and why we have an obligation to interact professionally as well as skillfully in our ever changing world. Most of the students in my Principles of Business class are freshman and this is their first college course.
