About Basilio Dobras
Hi, I'm Basilio Dobras from Panama. My native tongue is Spanish, but I am fluent in English, and Chinese. In 2008, I came to Taiwan to study for my bachelor's degree, where I graduated in Bio-Industrial Mechatronics Engineering from National Chung Hsing University. I then pursued my master's degree in the same field at National Taiwan University while working as a Spanish tutor and translator. During my studies, I participated in robotics and control competitions.After graduation, I started working at VIVOTEK, a video surveillance company, where I gained experience in the field of network cameras, surveillance systems, IoT systems and cybersecurity. Currently, I am a FAE team leader, responsible for leading a team of Field Application Engineers and providing technical support to customers. My role involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, team workflow planning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs. In my free time, I enjoy swimming and running.
