- Gather business requirements and work independently or with current development team to design, implement, test, and maintain updates to application set- Design, code and test new web software applications and services (Restful APIs)- Enhance existing systems by analysing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement- Experience developing cross-browser frontends using HTML5, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript- Deal with scaling issues, such as database optimisation, performance diagnostics and monitoring- Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices or operation systems- Design patterns, unit testing, behaviour testing, test driven development, mocking, stubbing, REST services, outside-in development and lean methodologies

- Work with designers, project managers and QA personnel as a team to deliver our customer requirements- Design, build or maintain web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media- Confer with management or development teams to prioritise needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions- Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces- Web application development (specifically utilising PHP)- Provide input regarding existing database schema (specifically utilising MySQL)
