About Bas Jennen

I head the financial regulatory group at Linklaters Amsterdam. Linklaters LLP is a global law firm with 30 offices in twenty countries. Our aim is to deliver excellent client service and using our global capabilities to help our clients pursue the right opportunities. My practice covers the full range of financial regulatory law, including advising on market entry, regulatory approvals, corporate governance, compliance and integrity, market abuse, regulatory investigations and enforcement. After finishing my study law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, I have worked at both financial supervisory authorities in the Netherlands (the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets and the Dutch Central Bank). This unique experience has given me a good understanding of these key Dutch regulatory bodies and their perception on risk. I also headed the Integrity Supervision Department at the Central Bank of Aruba.I have authored various publications in the area of financial and integrity supervision.
