This platform was developed in an Agile environment using scrum within a highly integrated DevOps environment using continuous integration & deployment. o Video Asset Monetization Analytics: A/B testing as a machine learning tool for video recommendation engine. o BYOD/BYOUX: Led the Mobile Apps API ecosystem for Cisco in helping video service providers to work with 3rd party App developers to develop Apps on their choice of Mobile devices (Android) and deliver video content to those devices. o Being the main interface between the Product Management and Engineering team, led a team of Product Owners of the “Infinite Video” Product. o Collaborated with Architects, UI/UX Experts, Project Management and Account Management teams to realise the product from concept to launch. o Leading customers: Kabel Deutschland GmbH (now Vodafone)Led the Set-top box middleware Product Line deployed in APAC, EMEA, LATAM regions: o Successfully transformed many project specific branches into one Product trunk with one product UX with a rich roadmap. HD iDTV Reference Design Development for the European (DVB) and other markets such as Australia, Taiwan, China, Singapore. Worked with 3rd party software companies in Europe in evaluating and choosing software products for integration into our products. Managed Tier-1 Early Adopters of our Reference Designs and supported them all the way up to production.

Managed a team of system software engineers who were responsible for specifying and implementing APIs for one of the new generation Digital TV chipsets. The chipset along with these APIs were used by LCD TV customers. This team was also responsible for the design and implementation of the respective DTV software modules for the reference platform. Other responsibilities included project planning, resource allocation, technical leadership, mentoring the team in achieving the team’s objectives.

Developed customized OpenTV middleware solutions for various Digital Television Networks in New Zealand and North America. Responsibilities included software design, development and technical leadership of the team involved in these customer projects.

Developed real time software for the Target (Mips R4700) running VxWorks RTOS using Solaris as the development platform.Developed software tools to test the performance of SCSI, FLASH memory devices on VME bus based single board computers. Wrote many low level APIs that interacted with SCSI devices. Developed tools to measure SCSI read/write performance on VME based targets.
