Senior Sap Sd Consultant
I was contracted to help Materion’s SAP SD staff work through a new backlog of issues that were relevant to both Configuration and Development, as well as help to maintain resolution of current issues:After arriving for my fourth contract at Materion, I was asked to take the SD lead on multiple internal SAP restructure and new facility roll outs:Worked on a Pricing Enhancement and restructure for the PAC (Performance Alloys business) that calculated precise value add that could be used by the business in their sales and production forecasts.1. Add VA Calculations to all PAC (Performance Materials) relevant Pricing Procedures.a. Test all pricing calculations in all PAC procedures Relevant to VA calculations.2. Add VA Calculations to Sales Orders and Invoicing for TMI (Technical Materials) business.a. Test all pricing calculations in all PAC procedures Relevant to VA calculations. I was successful in delivering a precisely calculated VA value for TMI in the Sales Order, and Invoice that did not impact Net Values or Sales Output to customer.3. Create a process for TMI to generate and store Pre-sales Quotes that they send to current and prospective customers.a. I built a SharePoint database structure that allowed Cost Estimates to be Extended to Price Quote for new materials, and then automatically generate a PDF Quote Document that would be saved to specific structure folders or sub-folders.b. Automated functionality was needed to process the steps in SharePoint. I worked with Materion’s Web Services team to design the functionality needed to meet the requirements set by TMI. 4. I worked to incorporate the Value-Add Calculations into current Finance, Accounting, and Sales reports, that would bring the exact calculated VA values from the sales order line items. This also took into account the delivery quantity for that line item at the time, to show VA for Shipped Quantity in comparison to the Sales Order/Item Quantity. 5. Issue resolution as needed.
