I have 10+ years of experience working in IT. My responsibilities have ranged from helping out customers through e-mail support to content design, training customers and employees as well as front-end and back-end web development.At Exact I’ve started creating e-learning content to help out customers get the most value out of their license. From there I shifted towards offering learning materials to customers through personalized in-app messaging as well as automated onboarding e-mails through Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Personalization.Prior to my time at Exact I’ve worked at Parcours Learning in Amsterdam. Parcours is an improvement company for educational journeys with the focus on personal performance boosting within organizations.Before I was working at Mr.Prezident, a Prezi training and design agency in Amsterdam. Mr.Prezident is an officially recognized Independent Prezi Expert by Prezi. I got interested in their work while I was still working for Prezi in Budapest and joined their team as a Trainer and Designer in February 2014.At Prezi in Budapest I’ve started a graduation internship in January 2012 after which I continued working for them as a Customer Support Specialist. I soon took on the task to host online trainings as well. I continued doing this until January 2014.I then had the chance to join Mr.Prezident and build up their training curriculum from the ground up. I really enjoyed helping out people in general. During that time I was specifically teaching people about Prezi and strategic presenting.From both my online and on-location training experience I've learned the different challenges of engaging people in my training sessions. Dating back from my high school days while I learned latin, I grew my analytic skills needed to fathom the language. Ever since I became better at analyzing problems and problem solving. This is what I’ve done in my day to day work. I’ve discussed the learning goals with the initiator of the training, I’ve designed custom training and I’ve observed the specific needs of individual trainees while training to best suit their needs, always with the interests of the group in the back of my mind. I'm good at listening and explaining while staying positive and professional.Besides IT and presentations, I'm interested in gamification. Motivation and game design are two things that come together in what's popularized under the term gamification. I’ve used motivation theory and game design techniques in the trainings I’ve conducted.
