I have achieved a Degree of Master of Science with distinction in Computing and Information Systems at Liverpool John Moores University. This was followed by a full-time scholarship for a PhD in Data Science awarded by LJMU. I have published a number of papers in the field of bioinformatics and computational biology. I am a proactive and creative researcher with ability to complete tasks within strict deadlines. As a computer programmer with 2 years’ experience working for a large company (Baghdad Electronic Company) and a further 2 years’ experience at ‘Ministry of Water Resources’, I am extremely hardworking, enthusiastic and highly responsible with a wide level of steadfastness. My role, required me to adhere to strict Data Protection policies due to the environment I worked in. I have also had to work independently using my own initiative in order to achieve the planned objectives.
