1. Install, test, operate and maintain IT infrastructure and systems including networks and communications equipment to fulfill business requirements including, but not limited to, LAN, WAN, wireless, cameras, etc. 2. Handle the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of network routing, switching, and network security devices. 3. Ensure IT operational management processes are in place to control and deliver IT services reliably, efficiently and effectively. 4. Maintain service levels and effectively resolve system issues to return the service to normal levels as soon as possible. 5. Provide locations with the necessary floor space, electricity provision, cooling infrastructure, structural integrity (e.g. to handle heavy floor loading) and access controls to set an optimal base for the physical infrastructure required. 6. Manage information and data stored within systems; examples are master data management and automated data transfer capability, as well as the underpinning technology systems, databases and data storage facilities. 7. Provide servers, operating systems and other environmental components to enable the operation of core systems, including operating the technology on a day-to-day basis. 8. Design, install, administer and optimize servers and related components to achieve high performance of the various functions supported by the servers. 9. Maintain the availability of server applications, configure all new implementations, and develop processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment.
