Orascom Construction Limited Company (KIMA ASWAN Project) Chemical Industries• Responsible for QC inspections during fabrication process at site (pipe rack) or shop floor from raw material cutting, machining, welding operations, assembly, testing and coating to delivery packing ensuring adherence to quality requirements into specs, codes and standards • Witnessing hydrostatic test, mechanical performance tests, hardness test, pneumatic test and stress reliving (PWHT), executing any commissioning after completion of mechanical works for all types of static equipment, piping and structure steel works.• Conforming that piping works & instruments on skids complied with approved P&ID / design document.• Punch list preparation & follow corrective actions up to the final /completion stage.• Sharing in the preparation/update of quality control specifications.• Ensuring that Welding and NDE inspections are carried out as per project requirements.• Inspection control of any kind of material (metal sheet, structure steel members, pipe, fittings) to be used in the project, and use PMI to check the material and also welding consumables (electrode, filler wire, flux).• Witness welding procedure qualification tests/ welder performance qualifications tests and monitor all welders repair rates as per project requirements /Inspection of welding consumables: control, storage and handling onsite.• Maintained weld maps/welding traceability for site construction works and preparation of inspection / testing work packages.• Weld joints fit up and visual inspection, welding in-process inspection like WPS parameter, monitoring preheat/ interpass temperature, dimensional inspection, insulation inspection &hydro test inspection.• Coordinating quality audits and take appropriate corrective/preventive actions to close out NCRs.

• Inspect weld using inspection method, ASNT NDE- Level II (VT, MT, RT, UT, and PT( and preparing for CWI.• Improved the QC section in the company by train the working staff using NDT methods.• Maintain, repair and overhaul broken machines with special needs that contain (cast iron, steel alloys, hard facing, copper, aluminum and dissimilar metals) using special welding rods.• Oversee the requisition of materials like NDE consumables and welding consumables which required to be used during fabrication process & check whether the materials as specified or not.• Conduct internal audits (ISO9001) & sharing in implementations of ISO 9001 QMS requirements.
