I have been a hard working and a passionate psychiatrist for 8 years. I have been interested in mental health disorders since internship, especially minimizing the stigma of mental disorders and educating patients; along with, their families about dealing with mental illness.I started my journey towards working in the UK to accomplish my dream of getting the best training. I am always seeking knowledge and improving my skills , especially research and audits. In addition, I am seeking supervision and support from different consultants to enhance my knowledge and gain wider experience to apply for higher psychiatry training as I am coming to the end of my core psychiatry training. Helping patients and providing the best care for them was one reason to be a psychiatrist. I consider my speciality unique, challenging and depends mainly on communication skills, which I managed to improve over the past few years and this was acknowledged by my supervisors during my training. Team working is another aspect of my skills, as I am always keen on discussing every case with my seniors or other specialists if needed. I like helping my colleagues to acquire knowledge, so I made a telegram group called Psychiatric Events, which helps Egyptian psychiatrists to know the latest webinars/courses/conferences available.I am willing to work hard to achieve my dream of becoming at the top of my field and improving the quality of life of patients with mental disorders.
