• Responsible for the creation of our shop drawings. • Modelling the project using advanced Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) software (Tekla Structure 2018/2019).• Coordinate all drawing sets to create a precast shop drawing set using Stubbe's Precast design and modelling standards.• Coordinating requests for information.• Correcting the model and drawings to be production ready. • Create all production drawings including machine files for Stubbe’s new state-of-the-art production facilities. • Reviewing supplied drawing sets from Architect, Structural Engineer, and Mechanical Engineer.• Coordinate projects between General Contractor and internal departments.• Ensure multiple projects are completed on time while navigating conflicting deadlines.

• Raw Materials – concrete testing of each different mix type done by using equipment such as temperature, slump, air content and cylinders for transfer seen-day and 28-day strength evaluation – record statistics.• Pre-pour Inspection – Check panel form set-up, hardware type and locations of same within each panel. Verify that the product matches the drawings before concrete is placed.• Post-Pour Inspection – ensure products are manufactured according to drawings after placement of concrete. Inspect finished product for uniformity of colour, texture and other imperfections for repair.• Approve or reject raw material and manufactured product based on inspections and test results.• Complete testing accurately and maintain records in accordance with established standards and procedures• Aggregate gradation/sieve analysis testing per ASTM standards

• Perform complex drafting and detailing to produce accurate plans essential for the fabrication and placement of reinforcing steel bars and related accessories in accordance with customer contract documents and industry standards.• Utilize Rebar CAD detailing software to create placing plans and manually by using cut-and-paste detailing techniques.• Prepare complex plans of reinforcing steel bar components using customer structural and architectural drawings and specifications.• Incorporate elevations, sections, plans, bending details, placing lists and material lists in a clear and concise manner that can be easily read and interpreted by project customer, engineer or architect.• Coordinate project-detailing activities with fabrication department personnel to ensure on-time delivery to customer site locations in accordance with project delivery schedule and contract specifications.• Communicate with customer regarding project details involving detailing, fabrication and delivery issues.• On occasion, travel to customer job site to resolve or assist others in resolving placing problems, obtain information, and to investigate claims involving company detailing services or fabricated products.• Maintain project files, to include release logs, contract control codes, weights, and release numbers as well as the project submittal log containing drawing numbers, alpha codes and submittal dates.• Interface with accounting, sales and fabrication personnel to monitor job progress and to provide clarification• Estimate rebar using aSa Estimating program
