Consultant : ECG , SOG and ARDS .About Project : CityStars is located on an elevated coastal zone between the Sinai Mountains and the Red Sea with breathtaking views of the Island of Tiran. GAJ were commissioned by CityStars as Lead Consultant for both design and construction phases. Initially we were requested to develop an concept master plan identifying the best suitable locations for a 5-star golf resort, supported by a number of public and commercial amenities .A development of this size requires careful planning, in particular with regards to the overall project phasing and infrastructure design. The project has been divided into six individual phases. Phase one and phase two combined will become the foundation of the resort community with the golf course, shopping centre, hotel resorts and other attractions. Subsequent phases will be built around these centrally located amenities to expand and enhance this unique resort community also providing great flexibility for necessary changes to the overall masterplan to adapt any potential market demand changes.

Directs/supervises all construction services required for the Company projects from the Bases of Design Report (BODR) Phase up to the end of the Start-up Phase. As per hereinafter Project List :1- Sky Medical Center , New Cairo , Egypt .2-JOTUN Office Building, New Cairo, Egypt. 3-Aswar Residence, New Cairo, Egypt. - Assists, as applicable, in the construction planning effort at early stages of projects, e.g., studying the construct ability of the project’s design, availability of construction materials on site, and accompanying the Project Manager on an early site visit to collect information on: job site conditions; labor; sub-contractors; construction materials; and all other matters affecting the construction operations. - Responsible for providing the construction input to Project Procedures and Quality Management Plan, construction planning, developing the requirements for the project site infrastructure, preparation of field staffing schedules and job descriptions, analyzing and determining the construction equipment requirements and developing the field organization chart. - During the Bases of Design Report (BODR) Phase, reviews and approves the construction schedule and plan of approach and provides construction advice on the engineering design. - Works, as applicable, with the Technical Review Committee of the project in reviewing the design, construction tender documents. - Moves with a nucleus staff to the site prior to start of construction to supervise the implementation of temporary facilities; arranges for other needed services such as communications, employee housing,medical services, transportation and construction equipment; and to establish a base of operations. - Acts as a prime interface between the Client and the Contractor(s). - Directs/supervises all construction activities and acts in charge of all site works. - Holds weekly staff meetings to review detailed field schedules.

JOB SUMMARY Monitors daily the Contractor’s work, procedures for storage, handling, testing and construction/ installation, safety and quality control program and his execution of project contract requirements. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Logs and monitors all Contractors submittals (correspondence and shop drawings) to assure timely response, and process change and field orders for review by Construction Manager/Resident Engineer. - Supervises his subordinate staff members in the execution of their responsibilities. - Monitors, reviews, comments and reports on progress payments, quality control and safety. - Prepares necessary draft correspondence for final approval by the Construction Manager/Resident Engineer. - Assists as applicable, with pre-tender and pre-construction activities for contracts relative to his site(s) and provides input for all change orders and claims analysis. - Holds daily meeting with the contractor’s representative. - Prepares the Weekly Progress Reports. - Assists the Construction Manager/Resident Engineer in preparing the Monthly Progress Reports. - Reviews and approves the As Built Drawings for final approval by Construction Manager/Resident Engineer. - Assists in preparing the Final Acceptance and Completion Report. - Reviews and presents the Contractors Valuations Payments for final approval by Construction Manager/Resident Engineer. - Witnesses and supervises commissioning and start-up activities. - Studies and gives comments on the Contractors Claims

JOB SUMMARY Assists the Project Manager in leading and managing the project tasks to satisfy the engineering work program within the indicated time budget and quality. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintains liaison between all personnel assigned to the project to assure mutual understanding and agreement on all phases of the work as defined by the contract and to assure continuity of job progress and design. - Assists in the preparation of the Bases of Design Report (BODR) of the project including; data collection, identification of problem areas, conceptual and preliminary engineering, outline specifications and project’s preliminary cost estimates. - Gathers and disseminates project data and information to all concerned so that all activities are well correlated to meet the project commitments. - Assists the Project Manager in the detailed development of the project scope of work. - Coordinates and resolved technical problems including non-conformance to project specifications or engineering standards. - Plans and directs studies for engineering design. - Establishes and maintains coordination between engineering staff and client technical representatives. Controls client requests to assure adherence to the project scope. - Approves requisitions for quotations and purchase of materials, equipment and subcontracts. - Reviews all bid analyses and present them to the Project Manager for approvalAssists the Project Manager in the preparation of the Project Procedures Manual, Quality Plan, Schedules, etc. - Assists the Project Manager or, in his absence, conducts project review meetings involving any or all technical disciplines assigned to the project team. - Assists the Project Manager in motivating the project team to efficiently, economically, and satisfactorily completes their technical assignments. - Automatically replaces the Project Manager in all or part of his responsibilities in his absence.
