•Manage the IT Operations Unit and provide critical infrastructure and support services to the staff of the Tribunal.•Overall responsibility to manage the Service Desk, Application Support, Systems Engineering, Asset Management, Video Director and Court Support Cells.•Prepare and submit the budget for the section, monitor the budget performance and report as required.•Lead the analysis and evaluation of the present and future IT support requirements of the Tribunal and develop… Show more •Manage the IT Operations Unit and provide critical infrastructure and support services to the staff of the Tribunal.•Overall responsibility to manage the Service Desk, Application Support, Systems Engineering, Asset Management, Video Director and Court Support Cells.•Prepare and submit the budget for the section, monitor the budget performance and report as required.•Lead the analysis and evaluation of the present and future IT support requirements of the Tribunal and develop general support strategies and specific standard operational procedures and subsequent implementation.•Coordinate with other Sections of the Tribunal to ensure high quality IT support is provided and keep them informed of ongoing and upcoming projects.•Coordinate the preparation of IT support requisitions for materials and services and actively following up on progress.•Ensure that appropriate services are provided in line with the ITIL implementation at the Tribunal, including Change Management and SLA Management.•Coordinate the procurement activities, generating Statements of Work, Requests for Proposal, Evaluation Criteria and Specifications, taking into account systems lifecycle management and the "best value for money" approach.•Play a leading role collecting, analyzing and planning for the archiving, legacy and other requirements for the residual judicial mechanism of the Tribunal according to Security Council resolution.•Act as First Reporting Officer for Performance Evaluation Reports of the Operations Unit Cell Supervisors and make recommendations to the Chief of Section regarding extension of individual contracts in the Unit.
