Prior to this I was Director of Corporate Development at TELUS, where I led the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and partnerships in the technology, SaaS software, digital transformation, and digital health sectors. Previously, I have worked in Private Equity at Lehman Brothers and a sovereign wealth fund based in the middle east. I have closed 12 transactions across North America, Australia, the Middle East, China, and India with a total value of $700M, delivering value and growth for the companies and their stakeholders.I have a proven track record of formulating and implementing M&A strategy, leading negotiations, managing due diligence and deal structuring, overseeing financial modeling and valuation, and providing recommendations to the executive leadership team. I also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, tax, HR, accounting, privacy, security, and corporate communications, to ensure smooth integration and alignment of the acquired businesses.
